1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup fruit preserves
1 cup brown sugar - packed
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cup oats - uncooked
1/4 cup sliced almonds - toasted

Beat butter and sugar until well blended.
